My name is Maila (pronounced My-la) and I am a proud mother to a sweet little boy named Kaden, and a little old lady who still thinks she's a puppy, named Klara. My husband, Ryan, and I had major crushes on each other in middle school but he ended up going to Amador and I went to Foothill. We ran into each other 12 years later and the rest is history!

With 14 years of experience in the industry, I have always had a passion for hair and makeup. My mom even swears she knew I would be a hairstylist since I was 2 years old. In addition to being a stylist specializing in Dimensional Grey Coverage, I am also a beauty industry business couch and mentor. I find so much joy in sharing my knowledge, empowering my peers and helping them succeed in their own businesses. 

When I'm not working or spending time with my family, you can find me educating myself on all things related to my specialty and business, connecting with my family, friends and community, or curled up on the couch, reading a good book.
